This listing is for two separate positions, one in Moultrie, Ga and one in Valdosta, GA.
Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM with occasional Saturdays
$15-$18/hour based on experience and qualifications. Opportunities for bonus pay, year round.

Requirements:
- Multiple years experience in the diagnosis & repair of various types of lawn care equipment (including: mowers, edgers, leaf blowers and trimmers)
- Be able to complete diagnosis and repair of equipment
- Demonstrable competence with computer driven diagnostic tool
- Owns an adequate inventory of tools

The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and company profitability by maintaining a consistent flow of repair orders with clear positive communication with customers. This is a high-volume position and requires the successful candidate to be highly organized, very self-motivated and a team player.

Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on repairs and/or estimates and providing an exceptional customer service experience
- Create and maintain service repair orders, ensure that billing procedures are in place for a rapid turnaround from repair completion
- Ensure all repairs are completed on time and meet or exceed our quality standards
- Work with Service Writer to update repair status in real time
- Monitor WIP reports, P&L reports, Expense Tracking on an ongoing basis to maximize profitability and accuracy for the department
- Provide technical assistance to technicians, Service/Warranty Admins as necessary
- Assist Service Writers with quotes as necessary
- Work with Parts Department to order and pull parts efficiently
- Coordinate deliveries with the Service Writers and General Manager
- Work with the General Manager to review staffing levels and assist with the hiring process for new technicians
- Supervision of technicians
- Daily review of technician assignments, progress, and efficiency
- Monitor and Schedule technician training to maintain all required certifications
- Review complete repair orders for accuracy (Parts, Hours, Etc.)
- Internals, new and used
- Ensure that shop area is clean, organized, and free of dangerous or hazardous material
- Inspect shop equipment and work with General Manager to ensure all necessary tools and equipment are available to technicians
- Ensure all company and safety policies are followed
- Other duties as directed
Physical Requirements:
- Must have the ability to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to travel as required.
- Will be required to do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position
- Must have the ability to board vehicles, and inspect under vehicles if necessary.
- Must have good manual dexterity
What we’re looking for:
- High school Diploma or equivalent maintenance management experience
- At least five years’ experience in service-related industry
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of computers and computerized maintenance management and inventory control systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Enjoys being a part of a team
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of Warranty including SRTs, claim requirements, etc
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of the characteristics and maintenance needs of a wide variety of agricultural equipment
- Comprehensive knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of shop operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of business practices applicable to management and the ability to perform all duties of subordinates
Pay rate ranges from $50k-$65k annually, dependent on experience.
